EdgeXR is on a mission to develop and manage open source solutions for the edge tailored for Telco and Enterprise customers.
History
EdgeXR, Inc. was incorporated in June 2022 and is based in Los Altos, CA, and a EU subsidiary, EdgeXR B.V. to manage the community and provide platform support. Our experienced community is passionate, successful, and committed to furthering the Telecom and Enterprise Edge for AI, Computer Vision and Real-Time Applications using next-generation devices such as cameras, wearables, industrial robotics, and UAVs.
Mission
Our mission is to develop an open-source Edge standard in partnership with leading companies in the industry and to evolve new Capabilities over the open-source platform to support Enterprise, Telco Customer, and Partner's own Edge-Cloud As-A-Service (ECaaS) for specific computer vision and video analytics use cases.
Built on top of the commercially proven MobiledgeX Edge-Cloud platform, EdgeXR's products are already in deployment and highly differentiated. Our team fully unlocks the potential of the Edge-Cloud Open Source Platform by making a Telco and Enterprise-proven platform available for immediate deployment at attractive unit economics compared to public cloud and other on-prem solutions.
